We are thrilled to announce another addition to our Hounds for Heroes family, meet Warrior. He is named after the IOW born foal "Warrior", who went to war on the Western Front with General Jack Seely, a great friend of Winston Churchill.
The funding for Warrior was raised by all the Cadet Forces on the IOW, when Sea Cadets, Army, Royal Marine and Air Cadets took part in a Round the Island Relay. It took two days to complete. This funding will continue to support Warrior & his ongoing journey to become an assistance dog.
