Once again we were shoulder to shoulder with services personnel from both the Department of Health and Education (DHE) and University Royal Naval Unit (URNU). The enthusiasm, professionalism and drive of these volunteers was inspirational. All the staff and supporting team were overwhelmed by the sheer level of support from the dog-loving public.
We were delighted to have various cheque presentations and to meet with clubs and organisations that have supported the charity.
Thursday’s winner of an exclusive bottle of Hounds for Heroes Champagne was Danny Morgan. The presentation was poignant as Allen and Danny met many years ago when they launched Hounds for Heroes at Crufts alongside Endal and Buster, the two most highly decorated dogs.
