We have some very exciting news! From September we will be opening our very first Puppy Hub in Portsmouth. We are looking for four Puppy Parents to take in one of 4 puppies later this year.
The puppies will live with you full time until around 14 months old when they will move onto their advanced training.
Weekly classes will take place on a Monday afternoon at Eastney Community Centre, Southsea. You will be fully support by our Puppy Trainer with 1:1 sessions too. These sessions could be at your home or out and about giving the puppies lots of positive experiences all the prepare them for their lives as assistance dogs. All puppy costs are covered too.
All our puppies learn through positive reinforcement. We want our puppies and Puppy Parents to enjoy all their training and experiences.
We recently had a great session at Portsmouth Harbour Train Station introducing some of our younger dogs to trains.
The staff at the station were fantastic in letting us practise going through the ticket barriers and getting the accessibility ramps out for us so the dogs can practise getting on and off the train.
A huge thank you to everyone at Portsmouth Harbour Station for your continued support in aiding our training.
There are only 4 puppies arriving in September to move into the Portsmouth and Southsea area so if you would like to opportunity to be a vital part of an assistance dog’s journey then apply now or come along to one of our information sessions at Eastney Community Centre this summer.
